Mission Statement
At the Kiwanis Club of East Meadow, we strive to fulfill the Kiwanis vision of changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Community service is our primary goal. Through the participation of our members, we’ve helped to educate our children, support our community, and establish ourselves as the premier service organization in East Meadow. Over the years, we’ve completed numerous community service projects. We send 24 children each year to a week of
sleep away camp at Kamp Kiwanis. Since 1981 we have sponsored an annual Senior Thanksgiving Dinner serving over 500 seniors. Yearly we distribute over 300 holiday food baskets to needy families. We provide $6,000 in scholarships to students in our community each year with a total to date of over $104,000. This is but a short list of our many accomplishments.
